Sampson Farms in Aitkin, Minnesota also serves as our wildlife and hunting preserve. The farm has over 2,350 acres of varied terrain as well as one of the largest populations of sharp tail grouse in the area.

The farm is used as a private preserve servicing Sampson Farms associates only. Each year the farm is stocked with pheasants and grouse. In addition, the farm attracts large amounts of geese in the fall migration period and is home to bears, beaver and timber wolves, completing the wildlife cycle necessary to wildlife survival.

We make every effort to perform our agricultural activities to not disturb the delicate balance of nature on the farm. Fields lying
dormant are seeded with strips of row crops serving as food for our wildlife friends.

We are proud to announce the arrival of TWO BLACK BEAR CUBS in the Spring of 2000!
